Chinese New Year Gala Night in KTT

... and so the day had come, at last, the first time Chinese New Year celebration Gala Night in KTT ...
... after we come back from our holidays, everyone started doing their parts in preparing for this night ... from programme planning to souvenirs to food, everyone is doing their part in making this night a blast! ...
... i was in the souvenir group, but since we had actually settled all the souvenirs and presents during the long long holidays, i had nothing to do in the first day ... maybe i'm too busybody, or i just want to be more involved in the event, i started helping out the coordinator, Fui Bee ... poor girl, she was the only one coordinating the event, so i think i should be helping her as much as i could, since i had experiences in organising this kind of events ... so preparation work started ...
... eventually i took charge of the sketch performance, not as an actor, but just to guide them ... in the end, i think i didn't help much, but they have made it, they worked it out ... i'm proud of the whole cast, thanks to them and sorry for my endless comments on their performance ... i just want the whole performance to go smoother ...
... and the night had finally arrived ... on Friday afternoon, we started decorating the hall and arranging the tables for dinner ... then around 6p.m., i changed my clothes and went down to finish up what was left undone ...
... after that, i helped the food department in their jobs, and that was quite fun ...
... but at the same time i had to look after the whole rundown, so actually throughout the event i was running here and there with Fui Bee like two crazy people ... luckily the event went smoothly and no big mistakes made ... phew ...
... i'm happy that the night became a success ... after the whole event, all of us felt so relieved and camwhore session began ... i can feel that everyone was happy ...
... from this event, i get to know some my best friends in college even better, and also, get to know some chinese i don't even talked to before ... it's great to work with them all ... i feel proud to have the chance to work with them and offer my help ... so glad that i can actually contribute something ...
... this Chinese New Year Gala Night will definitely become one of the memories which i will cherish forever ... love you guys ... i won't forget the fun we had that night ... 22nd of February 2008, a date which i'll never forget ...
