Kwang Hua Prefectorial Board Annual Gathering ...

... 3rd of May 2008, i stepped into Kwang Hua again, after leaving for more than one year ...
... this time, as an ex-prefect, i was invited back to attend Prefectorial Board's Annual Gathering ...
... the moment i got the invitation card last week via mail, i felt really happy ... i think this will probably be my last appearance in the annual prefect gathering event, since i'll be in Indonesia this coming August ...
... when i stepped into school, i saw juniors ( i think they are form 1 or form 2 juniors :p ) making two lines along the entrance ... then, all in sudden, one of them instructed "one, two ..." 'oh my gosh, what are they planning to do?!' spontaneously i ran away to a side, and guess what they did? they actually shouted "GOOD MORNING, SENIOR!!!" ... how cute, haha! ... hearing people calling me "senior" after two years was actually quite weird, but i'm really happy to hear that ... it's like going back to my secondary school life ...
... then i slowly walked up to the hall, where the event was held ... i registered myself, then chatted with my fellow friends, whom i have never seen for such a long time ... it's really nice to see them again ...
... the event started at about 8.45a.m. ... hmm ... not punctual, but it's alright ... after the opening, the screen covering the stage was pulled apart, and for the first time, i saw the stage decorations ... and oh before i forgot, the juniors actually "made" a small tunnel hung with stars ... it's dark in the pathway, and the stars become shiny due to the fluorescent light along the pathway ... nice work and good creativity ... and also the stage decorations, it was okay for me ... quite nice actually, if not for the cellotape that was too much to be visible even from down the stage ... but nevermind, still okay i would consider ...
... the event started off as usual, with the speeches of the president of this event and also Mr.Gan, the principal ... and here comes the first big surprise of the day ... Mr.Gan was actually wearing a KRS officer's uniform!! ... and sorry to say that it actually made him like President Mao, haha ...
... up next was the only performance of the day, a drama which put in all usual performances ... dances, singing, chinese yoyo performance, sketch et ctera ... according to them, it was to match the event's theme --- fusion ... i understand, but the performances was really boring and sorry to say that, terrible, except for the chinese yoyo performance and modern dance performed by Julian and another 3 prefects ...
... after having some food, the event continued at about 12p.m. , for the games session ... and i was totally disappointed ... unorganised, chaotic, and everything really went "upside down" ... terrible ...
... and so i left at about 1.15p.m. ...
... in a nutshell, i feel happy and honoured for being invited again to attend the annual gathering ... it's really great to be able to meet my old friends and revisit the school once again ... i really miss the times when i was still in the school ... looking at the juniors was just like looking at myself when i was still studying there ...
... this year's event was just okay for me, but still thanks for inviting me ... i still enjoyed it, despite some disappointment, haha ... do it better next year then ...
